Situated 450 metres above sea level, Poggio Ridente’s vineyards are cultivated on steep slopes surrounded by woodlands. Climate here is atypical to that of the rest of Piedmont; the temperatures are warm almost year round. It is here that Cecilia Zucca and her family produce organic wines from traditional grape varieties, respecting the land and creating wines that are an expression of the soil where they are grown.
All Poggio Ridente organic and biodynamic production is certified by ICEA (Italian Institute for Ethic and Environmental Certification; accredited IFOAM). Even more important to the company and to Cecilia is the quality of life and the environment that she aspires to achieve, which in turn reflects the high quality of the products the winery produces.
