The Montepulciano are carefully hand selected form the finest vineyards in the beautiful Rosso Conero area near Monte Conero on the Adriatic Coast.
Close to the sea, the 8 to 30 year old vines are protected from the cold North winds.
The grapes are vinified in cement vats with frequent daily pumpovers followed by lengthy maceration on the skins.
The wine is then matured for 12 months in large Allier and Slavonian oak barrels and barriques, followed by bottle ageing in temperature-controlled storage.
