Light straw in colour with delicate green hues. Intense on the nose. Long, continuous and persistent. Fruity and floral aromas. On the mouth, broad, fruity with notes of flint, almond and walnut flavour.

Vinification: Very low yields - ranging from 70 to 50 quintals per hectare. Vines are located on the hills surrounding the Villa La Scolca. Hand harvested fruit is brought to the winery after 5 - 10 mins and sprayed with dry ice. Cryo-maceration, cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks and the use of natural yeasts preserves the Cortese’s subtle fruit. The young wine remains in tank on it’s lees for 9 months before natural decanting and bottling.
