Radici Taurasi Riserva has a deep, dark ruby red colour. Full, complex, fine on the nose with hints of tobacco, spices, cherry, berries and balsamic aromas. On the palate, the Riserva is enveloping, elegant and persistent with distinct notes of plum, bitter cherry, strawberry jam, black pepper and liquorice. Perfect with appetisers such as hard cheeses, truffles, Ragu dishes and roasted red meats and spicy dishes. The Radici Taurasi Riserva has the potential to age for 50 years or more.

Vinification: The Radici Taurasi, first produced in 1986, is the result of a long and careful research programme encompassing aspects such as exposure, soil profiles, soil texture, and terroir. Classic red wine vinification. Long maceration on the skins followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine matures for 30 months in French oak barriques and Slavonian oak barrels. The wine spends a further 36 months in the bottle before release.
