After careful cultivation of the grapes among the Poggio Ridente vineyards in Cocconato, the Barbera grapes are manually harvested in early October. A long maceration and fermentation period follows on arrival at the winery after soft pressing. The wine is then aged for 18 to 24 months in French oak barrels before bottling.
