A ruby red wine in colour which varies in intensity and turns to a garnet colour with ageing. Dry, full bodied, well balanced with lively tannins when young. With maturation, the tannins become velvety smooth and harmonious. Long lasting length.

Grape Varieties : Aglianico del Vulture

Vinification: The Aglianico grapes are grown on volcanic soils in South to South East facing vineyards. 400 metres above sea level. Traditional fermentation with an average maceration period of 8 days. The wine is then aged in big oak barrels for 18 months before bottling.

ABV: 14%
