Grape Varieties :
The Pinot Nero grapes for this fine Rosé come from Cusumano’s Tenuta Ficuzza Estate. The vines are Northeast facing and have an average age of 12 years. The grapes are hand harvested in the first half of September. There follows destemming, cold maceration for 24 hours then racking to obtain the rich Rosé colour and fermentation at controlled temperatures. The wine is then stored in tank for approximately 6 months on its fine lees.
