Chateauneuf du Pape AOP, 'Vieilles Vignes', Domaine La Milliere
Beautiful bright robe of a deep red ruby. Very aromatic nose with scents of ripe stone fruits (plums, prunes), nice spicy freshness (licorice and cinnamon) and garrigue notes (laurel, rosemary). Beautiful in the mouth - silky, elegant minerality, fine integrated tannins. The very long finish asserts itself on the freshness of stone fruits and spices. Stunning.
