The Pinot Nero grapes are hand harvested in September from a single 2 hectare vineyard within the D'Amico Estate high up in the famous volcanic 'Calanchi' hills.
Fermentation in stainless steel vats and then maturation in 100% French oak barrels (30% new) for 12 months with a further 12 months in bottle before release.
