The Malbec (60%) grapes are harvested from the Lujan de Cuyo vineyards in Maipu situated 1050 metres above sea level. Vines here are 87 years old. The Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) grapes come from the Finca Leyado vineyards in Maipu. Manual harvesting, the grapes are carefully transported in 20 kilo cases. Cold maceration for 20 to 28 days in stainless steel. Alcoholic fermentation occurs at 28C in new French oak barrels. Ageing in new oak for 16 months in new French 'Toutant' and 'Boutes' barrels. Bottling and lay down for 12 months before release.
