Vinification: The Malbec grapes are manual harvested in Villafane's Maipu vineyard. They are immediately then transferred in 20 kilo cases to the winery, a short distance away, for soft crushing, pumping over and maceration followed by a controlled malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged in new French oak barrels for 12 months and aged in the bottle for a further 12 months.
