Grape Varieties :
The Lacrima grapes are hand harvested from 8 to 30 year old vines in East to North-West facing vineyards within the DOC Lacrima di Morro d’Alba zone.
The grapes undergo cold maceration on arrival at t the winery and are then fermented in temperature controlled tanks.
The resulting wine is then transferred to small barrels where it spends a few months ‘Sur Lie’ then transferred back to steel tanks before the final blend is made and the wine is bottled.
