The Petits Chateaux is the Eurowines Selection of estates in the Bordeaux region of France. The Estates include the following:
Chateau Vrai Caillou Vignes de la Garene: A 40 hectre estate in Soussac. This estate produces a white Bordeaux Superieur with a 70% Sauvignon, 20% Semillon and 10% Muscadelle grape blend.
Chateau la Croix du Duc: A smaller estate near Lussac St Emilion. This estate produces a red Bordeaux Superieur with a 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon grape blend.
Chateau David Beaulieu: A large estate located in Galgon. This estate produces a red Bordeaux Superieur with a well-balanced Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grape blend.
Chateau Beauregard Ducasse: A 10 hectre estate in Mazeyres. This estate produces a red Graves Pessac-Leognan with a 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc blend.
Chateau Lamanieu: A small estate, part of the Chateau Beauregard Ducasse, which uses younger vines for its wine. This estate produces a red Graves Pessac-Leognan with a higher 60% Merlot content.
Chateau Haut-Mayne: A 10 hectare estate in Preignac. This estate produces a sweet Sauternes with an 85% Semillon and 15% Sauvignon Blanc blend.
Chateau Louvie Cuvee Veyry: This estate located in Saint Laurent des Combes creates wine from much older vines. This estate produces a red St Emilion Grand Cru with an 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Farnc blend.
Chateau des Moines: This 20 hectare estate dates back to the 16th centuary. This estate prdices a red Montagne St Emilion with a 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and a 5% Cabernet Sauvignon blend.
Chateau Chaigneau: A 12 hectare estate in the city of Neac. This estate produces a red Lalande de Pomerol from carefully hand-picked Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes.
Chateau les Barraillots: A small 6 heactare estate founded in 1928. This estate produces a red Margaux from their 35 year old Cabernet Sauvignon vines which make up 55% of the blend, the rest coming from 35% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.
Chateau Burgrave: A 7.5 hectare estate dating from 1815. This estate produces a red Pomeral from young vine fruit, creating an 80% Merlot, and 20% Cabernet Franc blend.
