Vinification
The grapes are harvested from vineyards located in the Lucarelli area of Radda in Chianti. After hand harvesting, the grapes are soft pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures of 23 degrees on the skins for 27 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in new barriques. The wine is then aged for 2 years in barriques before a long period in bottle for refinement and then release.
