From particularly low yields, the grapes are vinified traditionally and the wine is then transferred to new French oak casks for a period of approximately 18 months maturation.

Tasting Notes
This wine has an intense ruby-red colour, and a full-bodied aroma taking in morello cherry, mulberry, black currant, chocolate and leading to a meaty palate. Powerful yet restrained with excellent length, the palate gives way to a mountain of herbs and liquorice on the finish. 14%vol |
