85% Bovale, 10% Carignano and 5% Cannonau - all grape varieties with origins in Spain that thrive in the Sardinian climate. The Korem vineyards in Sa Tanca encompass 225 acres with a Southeastern aspect. Grapes are handpicked in September and fermented in steel tanks for 15-16 days. Racking for 14-28 days. The wine is then aged in new 225L barriques for 12 months with a further 6 months in bottle after the final assemblage and a short period in cement vats.
