Leyda Valley
The Pacific Ocean plays a very important role in this cold climate valley. Its cool breezes and low temperatures influence vines throughout the valley, from the coastal areas with vineyards planted just 4km from sea in Lo Abarca. The valley is known for its outstanding cool climate varieties such as its spicy Syrah and its high-end whites, especially Sauvignon Blanc. These are fresh, crisp wines of great character and natural acidity with good structure and balance often with a mineral edge.
