Intense golden yellow in colour. Complex and elegant, with aromas of ripe yellow peach, pineapple, a remarkable sapidity with a touch of vanilla. Rich and full bodied, juicy and fresh, with well-integrated oaky notes, creamy texture and a lingering finish.

Vinification:

The Chardonnay grapes are harvested from the Ficuzza area of Sicily in August from south facing, 10 year old vines. On arrival at the winery, they are cold pressed in contact with skins followed by static clarification. Fermentation in oak of 225 litres for a period of around six months, followed by fining in the bottle.
