Soft straw-yellow in colour with greenish tinges. Intense primary aromas and flavours or apricots and peaches with notes of melon, almond and honey. Lively, fresh, rich, balanced, delicate, fine.

Vinification:

Is Argiolas is a selection of 100% Vermentino from the oldest vineyards in the Argiolas Estate. The grapes are harvested later than the Costamolino Vermentino to obtain fuller body and ripe fruit flavours and aged for 6-8 months on the lees. The wine is vinified entirely in stainless steel tanks (for 25 to 30 days at low temperatures) to retain freshness and vibrancy.

Friends brought this wine back from Sardinia as a gift. We were so impressed we searched for a UK supplier to try and buy more. Its a delicious wine that has wonderful flavours. I'm not keen on very dry wines and this isn't but not overly sweet either. Prefect. Try and I doubt you'll be disappointed.
