The wine offers a dry, soft flavor with well-concentrated, elegant tannins and a long, persistent finish that amplifies the grape’s primary aromas. Itpairs beautifully with red meats, braised dishes, game, and aged cheeses, providing a rich and refined tasting experience.

Vinification:

The Taurasi DOCG “Vigna Piano D’Angelo” is an intense ruby red wine produced from grapes grown on mixed soils and trained using the spurred cordon system. The harvest takes place from the first to the third decade of November, with approximately 4,000 plants per hectare yielding around 50 quintals. After harvesting and pressing, the wine is matured for four months in French barriques and 18 months in large 500-liter barrels, followed by a two-year refinement in the bottle, a process that develops its structure, complexity, and aromatic intensity.
